I am in this “crazy beautiful hotel” in Fez. If one loves attention to detail – Morocco is that times a thousand… 
My connection is slow tonight but once I have one that is quicker I will post some amazing shots I have been able to capture in this beautiful and captivating country.
Two days ago we were in Marrakesh and had a wonderful guide that took us to the real city – that I am positive few ever see. Marrakesh like Fez of course is rich in history and beauty.
On my next trip to Morocco (and there will be one) I want to spend a week in this city (Marrakesh)… It is quite obvious why so many rich and famous have homes there. I read a blog right before I left from Gwyneth Paltrow – a link a friend sent – http://goop.com/newsletter/61/en/ She starts her blog saying “I just took a very impromptu first trip to Marrakesh where I fell in love with the place – it is magic. An absolute world away in almost every respect – there is something special in the air there.” I could not say it better!
Tomorrow we head back to Casablanca but not without a stop at what is thought to be the most Southern Roman settlement – Volubilis… an amazing Roman ruin that is so far off any main road I am told there sure not to be crowds. So between now and then sleep.
